Facility Programming and Consulting

New Frost Bank Tower

Facility Programming and Consulting was engaged by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and Frost Bank to prepare design parameters for the New Frost Bank Tower. The building will serve as the new corporate headquarters facility for Frost Bank in downtown San Antonio, Texas. It is the intention that this building will not only provide a recognizable Frost brand and customer experience, but also be an integral part of the urban fabric. This project will be the first new downtown office tower added to the San Antonio skyline since 1989. The project will encompass a single, multi-story, multi-tenant, Class A office tower of approximately 400,000 rent-able square feet, of which 150,000 rent-able square feet will be available for lease to other tenants. An associated parking structure to accommodate approximately 1,200 cars is also included in the project scope. The proposed site is currently occupied by a surface parking lot and Frost’s Downtown Motor Bank, and is located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, just west of the current Frost Bank Headquarters. The new building is scheduled to be opened by the second quarter of 2018, in time to meet the 300th anniversary of San Antonio and the 150th anniversary of Frost Bank. A minimum goal of LEED Silver has been established by the developer for the project.
